ADVANCED BRAND MANAGEMENT

 Course Details
The next batch of brand management course starts from January 1, 2008 to June 30, 2008.

 Objectives
      The application of advanced marketing concepts to the discipline          of Brand Management.
      To undertake a thorough examination of the principles of Brand          Management in a competitive marketing environment.
 Learning Outcome
      Have a clear grasp of the complexity of Brand Management          problems and the inter-relationships of the marketing mix          elements in Brand Management activity.
      Be able to relate the role of Brand Management to other          management functions in the organisation.

 Skills Outcomes
     Understand the basic nature of Brand Management planning.
     Be able to apply both the analytical and logical marketing         techniques required to solve Brand Management problems, and         develop creative skills necessary to their success.

 Course Outline
     Brand Affordibility - (Price) The theoretical and practical role of        pricing. Revenue-cost-profit relationships and their application to        Brand Management. Revenue management and control.
     Brand Acceptance - (Product) Product innovation, development,        management and control. Packaging and product design factors,        product portfolio management.
     Brand Awareness - (Promotion) Outline the complex field of        promotional planning and control, looking at the rules of selling,        advertising, PR and other specialist promotional tools.
     Brand Availability - (Place) Physical distribution processes and        channel decisions. The role of distributive trades.

 Course Fees
The fee structure for the advanced brand management course for two hours a week would be Rs. 39000/- ( Rs Thirty Nine Thousand Only) for six months plus service tax of 12% plus Education Cess of 3%. Rs. 39,000 +12% = Rs. 4680 +3% Education Cess = Rs. 140.40 (3% of 12% service tax).Thus the total fees payable would be Rs. 43,820.04 (Rupees Forty three thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty and paise Four only).
