Samsika Award for Marketing Excellence in AcademicsTM
Samsika helps create winning brands. We are of the belief that today's management students are the biggest impetus of building tomorrow's successful brands. To encourage budding marketing students, we have instituted the Samsika Award for Marketing Excellence in AcademicsTM on an ongoing basis from the year 1999-2000. This Award is open for participation to all Management Institutes from Mumbai, each of whose nominated students have a chance to be a recipient of the Samsika Award for Marketing Excellence in AcademicsTM.
The Best Marketing Student of the Year can be nominated to represent his/her institute. The basis of this nomination could be any or all of the following:
 Highest marks in Marketing Management - Semester II
Best Marketing Project
Maximum involvement in the field of Marketing
The Best Marketing Student from each participating college will receive:
A cash award of Rs 2,500
The Samsika Award for Marketing Excellence in AcademicsTM Trophy
A special certificate from the Samsika Academy of Brand Management (SAMTM)
The award-giving ceremony will be addressed by Mr Jagdeep Kapoor, Managing Director - Samsika Marketing Consultants, on August 13, 2000.
RULES FOR PARTICIPATION
Only second semester students of the first year MBA course are eligible to participate in the Samsika Award for Marketing Excellence in AcademicsTM.
The name of the best Marketing student should be communicated in writing through the Nomination Form within 15 days of the declaration of results or latest by July 25, 2000, by the Director of the Management Institution. No entries will be accepted after this date.
The award ceremony will he held on August 13, 2000.
